The Department of Physiotherapy at Tishk International University actively participated in activities organized to express solidarity and support for the Kurds in Rojava. The Physiotherapy Staffs, together with students of the department, demonstrated their commitment to unity and humanitarian values through their engagement in cultural and supportive initiatives. As a symbol of respect for Kurdish identity and cultural heritage, participants proudly wore traditional Kurdish attire during these events, reflecting a shared sense of belonging and national pride.

As part of this initiative, the Physiotherapy Coordinator and students also paid a formal visit to the Dean and Vice Dean to present the purpose and significance of their participation. This visit highlighted the importance of institutional encouragement in promoting solidarity, preserving cultural values, and raising awareness of regional humanitarian matters. The engagement further reinforced the role of academic institutions in fostering socially responsible and culturally aware future healthcare professionals.

In addition, faculty members and students took part in organized gatherings aimed at demonstrating support and standing in unity with the Kurdish people in Rojava. Their participation reflected a strong sense of social responsibility, compassion, and humanitarian commitment within the academic community. Through such initiatives, the Physiotherapy Department continues to uphold its dedication not only to academic and clinical excellence but also to community engagement and cultural solidarity.
