Ramadan Iftar of Physiotherapy Department

Muslims observe the holy month of Ramadan as a time to reflect and follow the teachings of Islam. This period is not only about abstaining from food and water, but also a time for spiritual growth and unity. Muslims engage in charitable activities, spend time with loved ones, and avoid negative habits such as lying, fighting, and gossiping.

On April 6th, 2024, the Physiotherapy Department, Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a Ramadan iftar gathering for 1st and 2nd grade students. The event was held in the university garden, providing a welcoming and serene atmosphere for the students to break their fast.

Dr. Kenan Kapukaya, Dean of Students, supervised the gathering, while Ms. Dalya Abdulghafoor and Ms. Snur Azeez, Research Assistants at the Physiotherapy Department, coordinated the event. The aim of the gathering was to foster a sense of community and unity among the students during the holy month of Ramadan.

The iftar gathering featured a delicious selection of traditional dishes and refreshments, carefully prepared to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for the students.
