Food Fundraising and Social Community Projects & Club Introduction Day
On November 29th, 2023, the Deanery of Students at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a successful event showcasing social community projects and introducing various clubs. The participation was widespread, involving all departments of the university. As representatives of the Physiotherapy Department, we actively took part in the event, which featured food fundraising activities as well.
Our department contributed to the event with enthusiasm, bringing and selling food to support our cause. The funds generated were raised for a charitable initiative aimed at assisting underprivileged patients with cerebral palsy. Every participant played a role in explaining that the proceeds from the event would be used for this benevolent project.
This annual tradition at our university fosters a sense of community and joy among the students. Whether selling or buying food, everyone involved felt a genuine happiness, knowing that the income generated would be directed towards helping those in need. The main goal was to raise funds for the Helena Centre Project, for the benefit of patients, bringing smiles to the faces of individuals dealing with cerebral palsy.
