On Tuesday, Feb 24, 2026, IT students from Tishk International University visited Fakher Mergasory High School to introduce students to Information Technology (IT) and explain its importance in today’s digital world.
Purpose of the project:
- The goal of this project was to help high school students learn about IT and understand its role in daily life.
Main aims:
- Teach students what IT is and why it is important in areas like education, communication, and business. (SDG 4: Quality Education)
- Introduce different IT fields such as programming, networking, cybersecurity, databases, and software development.
- Show students career opportunities in IT, including technical and non-technical jobs. (SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth)
- Help students understand basic IT concepts and keep up with new technology. (SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure)
- Guide students in choosing their future study and career paths in IT.
- Start future cooperation with Fakher Mergasory High School.
Activities done:
- Discussed future partnership with the school head and staff.
- Distributed gifts to students.
- Created a fun and interactive learning environment where students asked questions.
- Took a group photo and received a certificate of appreciation from the vice head.
