Tishk International University (TIU) successfully concluded the 11th National Innovation Competition in Engineering (NICE 2026) on 17 May 2026, highlighting innovation, creativity, and engineering excellence. Held under the theme of National Innovation, the competition brought together talented students, academic supervisors, expert jury members, and representatives from universities across the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. In December 2025, some students from TIU participated in the Spring Festival exhibition, where different university departments prepared and displayed homemade food and sweets to raise money for people in need. The event brought students, staff, and visitors together and showed how the university community can work together to support others. Students and faculty members from the Information Technology Department at Tishk International University took part in an educational and scientific field visit on June 9th, 2026, to learn about modern technology and digital transformation.
