Faculty of Applied Sciences /Department of Information Technology Successfully Concludes Training Program on Entrepreneurship and Career Development
In line with the initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Kurdistan Region to enhance students’ employability and entrepreneurial competencies across all public and private universities, the Faculty of Applied Sciences/ Information Technology department at Tishk International University successfully conducted a comprehensive Training of Trainers (TOT) program on Entrepreneurship and Career Development.
The training was organized and delivered by the Department of Information Technology (IT) over a period exceeding Four weeks. The program was designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge, practical skills, and teaching methodologies required to effectively deliver entrepreneurship and career development training to university students.
Throughout the program, all designated learning objectives and training outcomes were successfully achieved. Participants were introduced to key concepts of entrepreneurship, career planning, professional development, innovation, leadership, communication, teamwork, and workplace readiness. In addition, a wide range of practical techniques, valuable hints, and career success strategies were presented to help students better prepare for their future professional lives.
The training sessions provided students with a deeper understanding of entrepreneurial thinking and career development practices that can be applied throughout their academic and professional journeys. Students expressed their satisfaction and appreciation for the valuable insights and practical guidance gained during the program.
The training was successfully finalized under the supervision and instruction of one of the certified trainers from the Department of Information Technology. The program concluded with positive feedback from participants and reaffirmed Tishk International University’s commitment to supporting national educational initiatives and preparing students for successful careers in an increasingly competitive job market.
