Tishk International University (TIU), Information Technology Department (IT), organized this community-university partnership project to support the environment and help students take part in real community service. The project was about cleaning the Bastora picnic area and removing waste such as plastic bottles, cans, food packages, and other rubbish. On May 20, 2026, the Information Technology Department within the Faculty of applied science at Tishk International University (TIU) holds an International Workshop Titled “AI in Medical Applications and NLP Innovations” which was held in the Education Building in hall 302.   The IT Department at Tishk International University has started online classes to ensure the continuation of the academic program and support SDG 4: Quality Education. Students must activate their Microsoft Teams accounts with help from the IT Unit so classes can begin immediately. Online lectures are held between 09:00 AM and 05:00 PM, and groups may be combined into one session when needed. Practical labs and exams are postponed temporarily, while assignments, quizzes, and reports will be used for student evaluation.
