The Immune Dysregulations: Autoimmune and Autoinflammatory Disorders (IDAAD) Exhibition marked its First debut on May 18th, 2026. This exhibition aimed at raising awareness about immune‑mediated diseases and will be a yearly series. This year’s exhibition featured 20 scientific posters covering a wide range of autoimmune and autoinflammatory disorders.

The event was attended by several esteemed guests including the President of Tishk International University, Prof. Dr. Sultan Abu Orabi, the Head of Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi, Vice President, Assist Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science, Prof. Dr. Faiq Hussain, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science, Assist. Prof. Dr. Tola Faraj, the Head of Medical Analysis Department, Dr. Sami Mamand.

The event was mainly organized by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tola Faraj, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science, together with two research assistants from the Medical Analysis Department, Ms. Chnar Hussam and Mr. Tolaz Kadhim. During the event, students from various stages presented the different immunological diseases displayed through their posters, and a practical session was conducted by the stage 4 students, where they performed HIV, HCV, HBsAg, COVID-19 Ab, and H. pylori cassette rapid tests. The 20 posters involved details about the following diseases:

The exhibition aligned with two Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 3 ” Good Health and Well-Being” and SDG 4 “Quality Education” by promoting awareness within the university campus and encouraging health education among students and staff.
