On Thursday, 9th May Medical Analysis Department carried out a workshop about PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) devices which have been recently setup in the newly established labs for Research purposes. The workshop was presented by Abdullah Abubaker Shareef who explained how to prepare PCR mixtures and run the different PCR Thermocycler machines which are present in the Research Laboratory of Tishk International University.
Due to the unstable weather conditions the 4th international festival of Language, Culture and Science organized by TIU has been postponed to Wednesday, April 24th. So, the Midterm examinations of First Year Students (Technical English) will be postponed to Monday April 29th at 12:30pm. Note: The 2nd grade exam schedule will remain as it is.
On Wednesday 10th of April First Year Students of Medical Analysis Department had a lunch gathering for celebrating the upcoming of spring, the students usually organize such gatherings and it helps them to step out of the usual daily routine. It was a highly enjoyable and memorable day for the students.

Every week on Thursday Second Year Medical Analysis students have Histology Lab. through this Practical Course Students learn the different types of tissues and their various arrangements which result in the formation of living things. This course helps them to recognize the normal structure of tissues and their functions in order to be able to identify changes i.e. diseases and malformations if ever present within the tissue.
On Tuesday, April the 2nd, Medical Analysis Department along with Six other Faculties of Tishk International University celebrated the inauguration of 13 new laboratories each concerned with the Faculty's taught Practical Courses. The labs were Launched by Dr.Yousif Goran the Minister of Higher Education, Dr.Idris Hadi the President of TIU, Dr.Mehmet Ozdemir the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr.Wasfi Qahwachi the Vice President for Financial Affairs along with Dr.Karzan Mohammad, Dean of Science Faculty and other Deans and Head of Departments of TIU. On 19th, 20th and 21st of February Medical Analysis Department along with all the other Faculties of Tishk International University welcomed 12th grade students from various schools in different districts of Erbil city to the event "Visit Your Future" the purpose was to introduce the different facilities of our university and show the students how the staff of Tishk International University collaborates to ensure a better education for it's students.
