Diabetes Awareness: Strengthening Wellness (Community Project) On December 6th, a group of students in the Medical Analysis Department, Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a community outreach project on to enhance diabetes awareness at Cambridge International High School. This significant educational event, generously sponsored by Dalany Laboratory, aimed to engage with teenagers, a demographic increasingly susceptible to diabetes due, in part, to high sugar consumption. Refugee Lives Matter Among all the activities of our very hard-working staff, the Medical Analysis Department, Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University, organised a community service project titled Refugee Lives Matter, held on March 8th, 2022.  Ms Heshu J. Ahmed, Lecturer at the Medical Analysis Department and Mr Behcet Celik, Representative of DoS at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, organised a trip to Kawrgosk Camp. Nutrition and Chronic Diseases The Medical Analysis Department, Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University, organised the 3rd Community Project in the 2021-2022 Academic Year on March 7th, 2022. Staff members and 4th-stage students presented a seminar about nutrition and chronic disease and performed many medical tests for staff and students, including blood group, blood sugar, and blood pressure tests. We would like to thank all volunteers for actively participating in this community project and look forward to organising future projects to raise health and fitness awareness.
