An Internal Seminar on Prevention and Detection of Breast Cancer
On October 19th, staff members of the Medical Analysis Department, Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University (TIU) attended an Internal Seminar on Breast Cancer and its Risk Factors, delivered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Aryan. The purpose of the seminar was to inform about breast cancer, self-examination, and dietary and lifestyle changes that may impact the development of breast cancer.
The importance of self-examination and early detection in the fight against breast cancer was emphasized during the session. The audience saw a demonstration of how to do breast self-examinations and signs that may indicate the onset of breast cancer. Dr. Aryan also talked about nutrition and exercise, as well as risk factors including age and family history that are associated with the incidence of breast cancer. The seminar was well received by the staff, who found the information helpful as it served as a reminder of the importance of breast cancer awareness and prevention.
