Breast Cancer Awareness Workshop

On 24th of October Medical Analysis Department in Tishk International University, Echo Organization, Chro Project along with the support of Ministry of Health organized a National Workshop for Breast Cancer Awareness at TIU Campus which consisted of two activities; a Seminar which discussed BSE (Breast Self Examination) and Screening opportunity to Guests, Staff, and Students of TIU. HPLC Workshop

On November/22nd/2018, Medical Analysis Department along with Faculty of Pharmacy Staff had a work shop about a device named High Performance Liquid Chromatography abbreviate HPLC the workshop aimed to teach both staffs details on how to use and take care of HPLC and UV spectroscopy. In the first part the equipment works explained theoretically and in the second part a practical training was done. The workshop was explained by Mr. Muhamed Al-Qaisi and Mr.Ahmed Obeid., engineers from Al-Khora  and Black Pearl company.

Workshop

On Thursday, 9th May Medical Analysis Department carried out a workshop about PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) devices which have been recently setup in the newly established labs for Research purposes. The workshop was presented by Abdullah Abubaker Shareef who explained how to prepare PCR mixtures and run the different PCR Thermocycler machines which are present in the Research Laboratory of Tishk International University.

Due to the unstable weather conditions the 4th international festival of Language, Culture and Science organized by TIU has been postponed to Wednesday, April 24th. So, the Midterm examinations of First Year Students (Technical English) will be postponed to Monday April 29th at 12:30pm. Note: The 2nd grade exam schedule will remain as it is.
