On 11th of November The Department of Medical Analysis welcomed the freshmen students who got accepted in the department. All the staff of the department greeted the students with open arms and warm hearts. The Head of the Medical Analysis Department then gave his speech to the students, they were informed about the department history and a video regarding Tishk International University was played to introduce the students to the University. It is obvious the middle of November is a Diabetes awareness week. in this context we, as Tishk International University organized a series of events regarding the World’s Diabetes week in order to give an awareness to Tishk International family.. On November 12, 2018 we started a campaign to awareness of this disease by giving afabulous seminar to our students by Miss. Zaynab Yaseen Ahmed   Then, on November 14, 2018, in front of the main building. Both students and departmental staff of medical analysis jointly prepared this event. On 8th of November, Department of Medical Analysis and Faculty of Pharmacy had organized a lunch gathering for welcoming the new staff members. It was a highly enjoyable occasion on a very beautiful Autumn day.    

During the practical microbiology class the students performed culturing by taking swabs of normal flora from each other's skin and applied the samples to agar plates to be grown. The purpose was to teach the students how to collect a microbiological specimen and also show them how humans have a synergistic relationship with bacteria on our skin.

On the 30th of October, A welcoming lunch ceremony was arranged for the Faculty of Science which includes both the Medical Analysis and IT department staff. This took place at the University garden and the dean of the faculty of science gave pleasant speech and welcomed the new staff with open arms. The staff introduced themselves and it was an fantastic opportunity for them to meet and greet one another. It was a very enjoyable occasion on a lovely autumn day.

On the 29th of October 2018, a welcoming ceremony was arranged by the Dean of Students, Mrs. Amine, for the new Female members of staff from departments including the Medical analysis and faculties of Architecture and Pharmacy. In this meeting topics such as new students and staff adaptation to their university environment, here at Tishk International University, were discussed. This was a highly enjoyable meeting where staff got to meet each other and discuss various topics.
