Every week on Thursday Second Year Medical Analysis students have Histology Lab. through this Practical Course Students learn the different types of tissues and their various arrangements which result in the formation of living things. This course helps them to recognize the normal structure of tissues and their functions in order to be able to identify changes i.e. diseases and malformations if ever present within the tissue.

On Tuesday, April the 2nd, Medical Analysis Department along with Six other Faculties of Tishk International University celebrated the inauguration of 13 new laboratories each concerned with the Faculty's taught Practical Courses. The labs were Launched by Dr.Yousif Goran the Minister of Higher Education, Dr.Idris Hadi the President of TIU, Dr.Mehmet Ozdemir the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr.Wasfi Qahwachi the Vice President for Financial Affairs along with Dr.Karzan Mohammad, Dean of Science Faculty and other Deans and Head of Departments of TIU. On 19th, 20th and 21st of February Medical Analysis Department along with all the other Faculties of Tishk International University welcomed 12th grade students from various schools in different districts of Erbil city to the event "Visit Your Future" the purpose was to introduce the different facilities of our university and show the students how the staff of Tishk International University collaborates to ensure a better education for it's students. on 14th of February Second year students of Medical Analysis Department were awarded Certificates of Appreciation for their valuable contribution to the event of "World Diabetes Day" which was held by the Department of Medical Analysis in Science Faculty of Tishk International University on November 14th. The certificates were awarded to the students and the Research Assistants of the Department by Dr.Karzan Mohammad, Dean of Faculty of Science, Dr.Duran Kala, Dean of Dentistry and Miss Roza Talaat Head of Medical Analysis Department. On 5th February 2019 a seminar about "College Ethics" was presented to the First year female students of Medical Analysis Department by the Dean of Students of Tishk International University to enlighten our dear students about the transition that occurs when a student graduates from high school. As a Staff our goal is to sculpt our students in the best way; scientifically and behaviorally. It is also a way to help the students socialize more and familiarize with the ethics concerning university life.
