Nutrition and Chronic Diseases The Medical Analysis Department, Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University, organised the 3rd Community Project in the 2021-2022 Academic Year on March 7th, 2022. Staff members and 4th-stage students presented a seminar about nutrition and chronic disease and performed many medical tests for staff and students, including blood group, blood sugar, and blood pressure tests. We would like to thank all volunteers for actively participating in this community project and look forward to organising future projects to raise health and fitness awareness.

Tishk International University annually performs various social projects for the benefit of the community and TIU students. Amongst these activities, the Medical Analysis Department organized a community project in November 2021, in which students visited the Senior Care House in Erbil. The aim of this project was to provide healthcare to senior citizens who are currently living in nursing homes and to offer the elderly health protection, information, and the regular provision of basic medical examinations.
